Body - Mind - Spirit
The Canadian Breast Cancer Network and our co-hosts, the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation are pleased to announce “Body, Mind, Spirit 2010: National Conference for Young Women Living with Breast Cancer” taking place this October 29 – 31, 2010 at the Hilton in downtown Toronto, Ontario.
This year’s conference will bring together approximately 400 young women living with breast cancer, researchers, medical professionals, support organizations and decision makers from across Canada. Plenary sessions will cover the topics of Healthy Living & Hope and Empowerment. Over 35 workshops will give survivors the opportunity to learn and share information on a wide variety of topics. As well, CBCN is thrilled to welcome Canada’s queen of rock, Bif Naked, as one of our key note speakers. Bif will share her survivor story, “Rock Your Cancer,” as well as some of her healthy lifestyle choices and what it means to be a raw food vegan. This is the second time CBCN will have hosted such an event.  Scholarships are also available to minority, low income, underserved, and disabled women or to those who face geographical restrictions.
